Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated 17 June 2026
The short version
Every account starts with a 30-day free trial — no card required. You only pay if you decide to subscribe. You can cancel anytime, and we offer a fair refund window if you change your mind soon after being charged. We never want you paying for something you're not using.
Free trial
- Your trial lasts 30 days from the day you create your account. During the trial you have full access to everything.
- We do not ask for a card to start the trial, and we do not auto-charge you when it ends. The trial simply expires, and you choose whether to subscribe.
- If you don't subscribe, your data stays safe and you can come back and subscribe later — nothing is deleted just because the trial ended.
Subscriptions & billing
- Monthly — ₹499 per month, billed each month.
- Yearly — ₹4,990 per year, billed once a year (works out cheaper per month).
- Payments are processed securely by our payment provider (Razorpay). We store only what we need to manage your subscription — never your full card details.
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Cancellation
- You can cancel anytime from Plan & billing inside the app, or by emailing us.
- When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't cut you off mid-cycle.
- Cancelling stops future renewals — you won't be billed again.
Refunds
- 7-day money-back window. If you were charged and decide SpentOn isn't for you, you can get a full refund within 7 days of that charge — no hard questions. The fastest way is right inside the app: go to Plan & billing → Request a refund and it's processed instantly. (You can also email us — see below.)
- Yearly plans. Beyond the 7-day window, yearly subscriptions are generally non-refundable for the remainder of the term, but reach out — if something went wrong (a duplicate charge, a billing error, an account you never used), we'll make it right.
- Monthly plans. Beyond the 7-day window, the current month is non-refundable, but you can cancel to avoid the next charge.
- Always refunded: accidental duplicate charges and clear billing errors, regardless of timing.
- Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Razorpay, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
How to request a refund
In the app (fastest): open Plan & billing and, within the 7-day window, choose Request a refund. We return the payment to your original method and end access right away — no waiting on a reply.
By email:if you're outside the window, hit a duplicate charge, or just prefer to talk to a human, email support@spenton.dev from the address on your account, with the date of the charge and a one-line reason (it helps us improve). We aim to reply within 2 business days. This policy is offered by Arpan Jha (doing business as SpentOn) and is in addition to any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.
